Process of Manufacturing
AICPL Cable Trays are produced using Pultrusion process.

Contact Moulding
This Process Allows to Produce Variable Sizes of Cable Tray Fittings and Covers.

Pultrusion
This Process Permits Continuous Production of GRP/FRP Profiles with Different Cross Sections and Thickness and with Unlimited Lengths.

Raw Materials

AICPL manufacturers Cable Trays using various resin systems like Polyester, ISO Polyester, Vinyl Ester, Phenolic etc. depending upon customer requirements and fibre glass in form of Free End Rovings, Combination Mat, Stitched Mat, Surface Viel, Pigments etc.

The above Cable Trays are produced to meet ASTM E-84, Class I Frame Rating & self extinguishing requirements of ASTM D-63

AICPL offers full range of gratings suitable for various applications and AICPL also custom design the gratings suiting end requirement of the customer. We are an ISO 9001-2000 company certified by DNV and have expertise for providing various solutions to corrosion problems, weight issues etc. AICPL, have their own testing facilities, where all the raw materials are being tested prior to bulk manufacturing and this quality checks help AICPL to maintain its quality and deliver excellent products. Our Engineering Section can design products using Structural Designing and CAD programming.

Features Of Composite Moulded Gratings

Corrosion Resistance
The ability of composite grating to guard against deterioration from industrial chemicals and environmental factors makes it a logical and cost-effective alternative to carbon steel, aluminium, wood or other convention materials, whether the grating is exposed to continuous submission, splash, spills fumes or gases, you can be assured that fiberglass grating will outperform other mediums.

Impact Resistance
The impact resistance of Composite grating allows repeated deflection without permanent deformation A certain amount of deflection can occur with loading. Loading/deflection tables are available on request.

Maintenance Free
The use of Composite grating virtually eliminates maintenance costs since painting is not required and UV inhibitors protect against degradation from the Sun.

Light Weight
Composite grating weights about one-quarter as much as steel grating two men can easily handle full panels, without the need for hoists, pulleys or dollies. If the Composite grating needs to be moved for cleaning, maintenance or utility access, there is less chance of back injuries. The light weight design of the grating reduces installation and fabrication costs, weighing only 12 kilos per sq mtr for 25mm and 18 kilos per sq mtr for 38mm.

Non-slip
Composite Integral grit top surface provides outstanding anti-slip protection for personnel-in wet and oily environments. The grit is embedded in the top surface of each panel prior to curing. This combination of integral construction, plus depth of the embedded grit, creates a long-lasting maximum anti-slip top surface.

Fire Resistance
Composite grating is available in various resin systems, two of which meet the Class 1 flame spread rating of 25 or less in accordance with ASTM E-84 Tunnel Test Method. If a flame spread of 10 or less is required, a custom phenolic resin system can be supplied.

Non-magnetic
The non-magnetic properties allow the grating to be used in sensitive installation where the inherent magnetic properties of metallic grating would prove unsuitable.

Mechanical Strength
Breaking strength under a lateral force is exceptional. The uni-directional continuous fibre glass reinforcement offers numerous advantages, Including rigidity, shock resistance and no permanent deformation on after overloading. These factors provide excellent mechanical strength and a generous factor of safety. Composite grating is designed for maximum safety in intensive industrial use.

Types Of Ladders


Standard and Walkthru Fixed Ladders can be used up to 20" without safety cages. OSHA requires safety cages on ladder heights exceeding 20.

All Ladders are fabricated per your specifications and/or requirements. All Ladders are available with or without walkthru handrails a! the top landing surface.

Caged and Fixed Ladders are available with FRP Ladder Rail Extension options, designed for sale landing access. Handrails emend 42 above landing surface.

Materials
FRP Ladders and Safety Cages are fabricated from the following "Safety "Yellow" color FRP pultrusions with a fire retardant polyester resin, 50% glass content and surface veil for protection against ultraviolet attack.

FRP Fixed and Caged Ladders Design
Fiberglass Reinforced Plastic (FRP) Ladders and Safety Cages are designed, engineered and custom fabricated by AIC in accordance with OSHA standards. Section 1910.27. entitled 'Fixed Ladders*. Rung to side rail connections are bonded and pinned with a dowel rod to prevent any possibility of rung rotation and pullout. Rungs have a factory applied epoxy/base nonskid grit surface for maximum safety.

The ladder shall be entirely non-metallic with the exception of splice and mounting fasteners. Standoff clips are provided every 6 feet (maximum) of ladder height When required, ladders are also equipped with a 3'-6" high walk-through.

AIC FRP Ladders and Safety Cages are fabricated from fiberglass pultrusions that have a Class 1 fire retardance. with an ASTM E-84 flame spread rating of 25 or less.

AIC engineers can custom design a fiberglass structural system for virtually any application, using the latest CAD. drawings for fabrication and installation.

Fabrication
All prefabricated sections are furnished with any clips, fasteners and adhesive required for field assembly. All cut edges and holes are sealed with a compatible resin system. Each piece, part or unit is tagged with the manufactures drawing and part number for ease of field installation.

FRP Walkway. Stair, and Platform System
AIC designs, details and fabricates to your specification and/or requirements. Our Engineers design per your specific work loads, widths and heights. Units are shop assembled and shipped in maximum size sections to minimize field installation.
